Polaroid was founded in 1937 and unveiled the first commercial instant camera, the Land Camera, in 1947. Since then Polaroid has developed ground breaking cameras, such as the SX-70 which was the first instant camera to use SX-70 integral print film, which developed automatically without the need for intervention from the photographer.
