This superb grip has made it easier to get those portrait photos, along with keeping the controls at your fingertips. The product is strong and robust and integrates well with the EOS450d camera. It makes the weight balance much better as well when using heavier telephoto lenses!!

Question: Is it possible to use an LP-E5 and 6xAA batteries together, or do you always have to use the same type of batteries together ? What sort of weight does this add to the camera ?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, the AA battery holder fits in the grip instead of the 1 or 2 LP-E5 batteries so you use one or the other, you cannot fit both AAs and LP-E5 in the grip together at the same time. The grip weighs approx 230 grams.

Question: I presume that the grip does not include another battery in with it, so if you want the extended shooting time then you will also need to buy another battery?
