Question: Can the case fit an EOS 500D with 18-55mm lens and lens hood?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, with the hood reversed that combination fits into the EH19-L fine. If the hood is in the working position then the case only just closes. |

Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, I am afraid not, this case will only fit the body plus the 18-55 zoom lens. |

Canon EH19-L Semi Hard Case For EOS 450D / 500D / 1000D Question Date Added: 9th February 2009
Question: Does the EH19-L case have any small internal compartments/pockets for a spare battery for example? Also, does it have a strap or would it use the strap attached to the camera itself, through the gaps in the corners of the case? I am wondering how practical it would be - as when the case is taken off to use the camera whilst out and about, it looks like the case would the have to be put down or held separately.
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, there are no pockets or pouches on the inside of the case unfortunately. There are 2 gaps either side for the camera strap to go through so you can still use its strap even when the camera is in the case. Also on one side there is a loop which goes around the cameras strap and means that it can hang down when the camera is in use and you shouldnt lose it. |
