Canon EOS 40D Body Question

Question: Hi, I have upgraded from an EOS 300D to an EOS 40D. I use it for fishing and the RC-1 remote was ok. I have now bought a RS-80N3 remote but need to extend its working distance as its to short for self portrait use. Is there anything I can buy other than the very expensive LC-5 remote to resolve this problem. I need about 2m extension.

Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, there is an extension cable for the RS-80N3 remote called the ET-1000N3 which will increase the cord length by 10 metres and is available on our website. Alternatively you could look at the Hahnel HRC 280 Remote Shutter Release and the Hahnel HWC 433 Long Distance Wireless Remote Control which would be good alternatives. Hope this is of help to you.
