As always Canon quality is excellent. This cord is well made and now includes a metal thread for tripod/bracket mounting rather than plastic in the last model and indeed some of the copies that I have seen. It also has weather sealing if used with suitable Canon cameras and the locking mechanism is the same excellent one used on the latest Speedlite 580EXII flash. It also maintains all functions available if the flash is used on camera and the 2' cord is enough to get your flash off camera and onto a bracket for portrait and also macro photography. Well recommended!

A must if you're serious about using a flashgun for portraiture. Avoids those nasty shadows when turning the camera portrait as you can move the flash back above the camera or be more creative with your lighting direction. Service and value from Bristol Cameras was excellent, as always.
