The leather camera case is just what the 'doctor ordered'. I am severly visually impaired, so much so that I am registered blind and use a Guide Dog to get around. I know what you are thinking 'I bet his photos are something to see'. I needed a camera case that was attached to the camera, less chance of dropping the camera or losing the case. The design of the case means that to open it is instinctive, two press studs that can be flicked open using your pinkies provided you are holding the camera facing the direction you would normally use it. You can feel the shape of the camera as the case is moulded to follow its contours so no need to look to see if you are holding it the right way. So all in all this camera case is a neat little piece of kit, it even looks sexy in its shiny black finish, what more could you want from a camera case.

I am very impressed with this leather case, it is very smart looking and fits the Canon G9 like a glove. I was also very impressed with the screw at the bottom which screws into the camera to secure it and also you can still use the tripod without taking the case off. Was a little reluctant to shell out on a case that is 1/6 th the cost of the camera, but now I have it I'm very pleased. With a little practice the case can be opened and camera switched on within a few seconds. The case remains attached to the camera by means of a screw that utilises the tripod plate on the base of the camera. I am not fussed that there is no room to store extra memory card or battery within the case. After all, one of the main reasons for buying a G9 is to travel light and not carry extra accessories/lenses with you. That said, I'll prob keep a spare battery in my pocket :-). I really like the retro feel of this case.
