Canon WFT-E3 Wireless File Transmitter Question
Date Added: 21st August 2009
Question: Does this transmitter double up as a battery grip as well? Meaning does it house 2 batteries or 6 AA battries as well?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, no the WFT-E3 doesnt act as a battery grip as well unfortunately. It does use 1x BP-511A battery (not included) to power its own functions so neither does it draw power from the camera or supply the camera power, it has its own power supply. Because of this, if you dont already own a spare BP-511A battery for the camera, you will require one.
