I have been using this pan & tilt head with a 82mm Nikon fieldscope & a hide clamp for birdwatching.
It is easy to adjust & lock, lightweight but sturdy and good value at this price.
I would certainly recommend it if you are looking to use it for a similar application.
I haven't tried it with a camera but given the weight of my fieldscope I am sure it would perform well with an SLR or DSLR.

Question: I am looking for a replacement plate for my Cullmann 2710. Do you supply a suitable place.
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, the standard plate is the 0085, if you dont require the anti twist pin then the 0081 is fine. The 0081 is listed on our site, the 0085 isnt currently on our site but can be order via the sales line on 0844 991 8338, price is £10.99. |
