Bought one of these around 20 years ago, just getting back into photography and was pleased to be able to pickup another one to have the same quick release on both my tripod an monopod now without the additional investment in proprietary products which the seems to be all that is available on most High Streets today

The Cullman quick release system is exceptionally versatile and very robust. Not mentioned in the description, is the ability for it to locate two separate support arms capable of mounting any manner of peripheral accessories. It is a shame that Bristol Cameras do not supply these support arms, as this would make an already good system, a very worthwhile package indeed. Full marks, however, to Bristol Cameras for supplying the quick release assembly at the lowest price available.
