Took this bag to the Maldives for an underwater photo shoot.
The bag worked very well for most situations, but has some serious limitations which have to be considered if being purchased for diving purposes. I have listed the pros and cons below and some advice at the foot.
Pros:
1) Easy to use, light weight to travel with, optically very good with very straight forward lens mounting method.
2) Can easily switch between different camera bodies, so will not go out of date
Cons:
1) Due to pressure whilst diving, it is not suited to depths beyond 15m in my opinion. You have to put too much air in the bag at the surface which makes it very buoyant at surface but still crushes tight to the camera body after 12m. Sometimes beyond 15 it starts to press against various camera buttons either stopping the camera or taking pics by itself. I did use it down to 28m but only locked in photo mode with AF on.
2) On my canon eos slr, it is not possible to turn the mode dial whilst underwater. The thick plastic material is too stiff to operate the dial at the surface and becomes impossible underwater.
3) Underwater, you cannot use the viewfinder to checking anything useful. The water between you and the plastic, blurs the image hugely so you can really only compose and shoot in auto focus mode.
4) you really need to use 2 kg of counterweight to make it neutrally buoyant at shallow depths.
Other advice:
1) don't use any lenses wider than 14 mm as you will getting vignetting.
2) Try and use the live mode LCD when ever possible, its better than the viewfinder as you can see focus etc.
3) if shallower than 3m, then try and get as much air out of bag before sealing. 3-6m just seal it without putting in any extra air or squeezing any out, just seal it after putting camera in. 6m- 15m try and keep as much air in bag before sealing and maybe add a little but not much.
15m + blow into the bag and fill it with as much air as you can, though its a real pain to dive with at the surface and still very hard to use at these depths.
Overall this bag is really good as rain guard and for shallow UW use, Much cheaper than anything else better, though not really practical for proper diving photography.
