Hahnel HC-500D Infra Battery Grip For EOS 450D + 500D + 1000D

Battery grip compatible with the Canon EOS 450D, EOS 500D and EOS 1000D digital SLR cameras. The battery grip has a built in infrared receiver and includes a remote control with an approx 6 metre range. One or two LP-E5 type batteries (not included) can be used in the grip to extend shooting time. It also features a built in vertical shutter release for more comfortable portrait shooting.

Easily fitted and works well as does the infra red remote control. All in all, much cheaper than the Canon, with the added bonus of the remote control. Very pleased.
