• Battery grip for Canon EOS 450D, 500D and 1000D D-SLR cameras.
• The battery grip has a built in infrared receiver.
• Includes a remote control with an approx 6 metre range.
• One or two LP-E5 type batteries (not included) can be used in the grip to extend shooting time.
• It also features a built in vertical shutter release for more comfortable portrait shooting.

Easily fitted and works well as does the infra red remote control. All in all, much cheaper than the Canon, with the added bonus of the remote control. Very pleased.

Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, no this grip does not accept AA batteries, just 1 or 2 of the lithium LP-E5 type batteries.
