Hahnel HN-D300 Infrapro Battery Grip For D300 & D700

Battery grip compatible with the Nikon D300 and D700 digital SLR cameras. The battery grip has a built in infrared receiver and includes a remote control with an approx 6 metre range. If features a vertical shutter release and 2 command dials. One or two EN-EL3E type batteries (not included) can be used in the grip to extend shooting time. A battery tray for 8x AA batteries is also included for emergency situations when the main batteries run out. A 12 volt car charger is also included.

Question: Can EN-EL3 batteries be used in the Hahnel HN-D300 Grip.

Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, the battery in the grip has to be an E series battery, such as the HL-EL3E or EN-EL3E.

Question: Does the Hn-300 Deliver a full 8 frames per second same as the Nikon Grip Thanks Ed

Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, no the Hahnel battery grip does not improves the frames per second shooting rate unfortunately. The higher fps rate is only possible using the Nikon MB-D10 plus the EN-EL4a battery with the BL-3 cover.
