I haven't used the battery grip as of yet but the extra battery will be very useful. I didn't realise what I was buying when I bought this product but I am sure it will be very useful when I start using it.

Question: Hi, how does this work with the D40 battery cover, seeing as it is non detachable? Is there a slot for the cover to nest in, or, do you have to alter the camera permanently to make it work?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, the battery cover on the camera does detach and the grip has a slot for it to be stored in so it doesnt go a stray for when you want to remove the grip and use the camera on its own. Hope this is of help to you. |

Question: Q1: Will this battery grip fit the new Nikon D60?
I have read that it should, but I would like this confirmed before ordering.
Q2: Does this grip has an extended shutter button?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, yes this grip is compatible with the Nikon D60 digital SLR camera. The grip doesnt have any additional shutter buttons unfortunately. Hope this is of help to you. |

Question: Can the camera still be fitted to a tripod with the HN-D40 Battery Grip attached? (does it have a screw fitment on the base?)
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, yes all the Hahnel Battery Grips have a standard tripod socket on the base so the camera can still be attached to a tripod even when the grip is fitted. Hope this is of help to you. |
