I have found this product to be easy to use and very efficient. It is great not to have the lead attached, this always seemed to get tangled around my tripod, especially when moving position for a different shot.

I was recommended this item by Bristol cameras for my Canon EOS 40D, & thank the lord they did when I saw how much Canon wanted for their remote!
It came well packaged with easy to understand pictorial directions, & even had batteries included.
I have used the remote a number of times & have to say it does exactly what it says! The continuos shooting is a great advantage with a big memory card when you are trying to get a shoot of yourself.
My only critisium would be these -
1 The remote has no on/off. I hope that it only draws power when the button is pressed
2 Do you really need 200m range?! It would be nicer with built in aerial & less range
I would recommend it!

This is a fantastic product, does exactly as the official Canon item does, but is far cheaper. Not only that, but the Bristol Cameras item is cheaper than any other retailer I've been to. Recommend this product to anyone.

Having read a review in the photo press, I bought one of these immediately. The item is compact but fully effective and easy to grip. The ability to switch adaptors so that any of the EOS DSLRs can be used will be very valuable to those with more than one style of SLR.
The control unit works brilliantly - effective over surprisingly long distances so that you can be well out of the immediate area but still fire that shutter at the right moment.
At Bristol Cameras' price of under £30, it's a bargain not to be missed.

This remote control is 'Superb'. My camera is a Canon 350D and with this contro, I am able to switch it on from standby, focus and shoot. The remarkable thing is that it operates through two, yes, two double glazed windows, at a distance of 10 metres, plus, this is with the exxtending aeriel in the closed position. I have yet to try it at maximum range but have no doubt it will be 'up to the mark'
Buy one, you won't be disappointed

Very pleased the HWC Long Distance Wireless Remote Control I did not expect a lot for the price I paid but having tried it out this weekend it turned out to be better than expected I operated it at 54 Mtrs with no trouble at all, that was outside with no walls etc. Iwas also pleased with the 48hr delivery thank you Bristol Cameras Cliff
