Question: Does this adaptor allow you to play Hi8 tapes on a VHS machine?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, unfortunately 8mm or Hi8 tapes are not compatible with these VHS-C tape adapters. The only ways of transferring them to standard full size VHS tapes or DVD is to connect the camcorder to the VHS/DVD recorder using the AV leads, press record on then press play on the camcorder. Alternatively we do offer a video transfer service, please call our shop on 0845 652 1313 for more details.
