The compact R-101 is designed to hold a digital SLR body with lens attached plus accessories. The rear padded compartment will hold a small laptop (up to 12 inch) or additional accessories. The special design gives quick, separate access to the camera in the central compartment, while the rest of the equipment surrounding it remains secure.

The R-101s ergonomic harness includes a unique shock absorbing system, 5-point adjustment mechanism and 2 C-Straps to take the camera load off your neck. Additional accessories, like flash-unit, filters, charger, cables and personal essentials can be stored in the spacious arched lid compartment, the 2 outside pockets and the central mesh pocket. The Rucksacks include a well-padded dividing set, which allows you to organise it to fit your requirements and if needed KATA’s extra Modi-Vers Kits are available. In addition an optional TST tripod holder with its connecting V- shape device and an upper adjustable strap - not included (the tripod can be carried on the central part of the Rucksack or on one of the sides). Especially designed Camera Straps can be attached to the D rings on the harness and will take the camera load off your neck. In order to provide stability when on the go, two 25 mm wide waist straps are provided and can be connected to the base of the harness. Full protection on the main zipper and KATAs unique cover make sure that your sensitive equipment is well protected from the elements.
