This teleconverter is an inexpensive and easy way to increase the focal length of your Sony lens. Multiplier factor of 1.4x. Autofocus is maintained when used with a lens with a maximum aperture of f5.6 or faster. Exposure factor of 1 stop. Multi coated with 5 elements for high resolution. Weighs just 131 grams. Comes in a soft case with instructions. DG version only available in Sony fitting, for Canon and Nikon fittings please refer to the new DGX version here.

Very impressed; I use on a Nikon D300 with a Tamron 90mm f2.8 Di macro. Unless you have a full-frame sensor you should see no noticeable difference in IQ, provided the lens you mount it on is of good quality. Only small minus is that contrast falls off slightly.
