Question: Are these binoculars suitable for viewing deep space objects such as galaxies? Would the binoculars reveal their shapes or just appear as dots/blobs?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, you can see Deep Space objects with the Konus 20x80 binoculars and they will look the same as when viewed with a telescope, faint shapes can be made out, however, it is only a camera (CCD) that can see colours and shapes as shown in Astronomy magazines, these photos are taken with long exposure times and very accurate tracking using advanced equipment.
