Perfect match to any Manfrotto monopod, this head is really sturdy and inspires trust on all levels.
It has a regular quick release head (plate is included) and has an additional locking mechanism to prevent the catch opening by accident (a nice touch).
There is one simple twist-lock to rotate the camera either from portrait to landscape (primary use) or simply to adjust elevation and there is no slip even with my Nikon 18-200mm VR lens fully extended.
A quality item all round and, whilst a bit pricey, does exactly what you need it to do with the minimum of fuss.

Question: Do you supply the thread adapter (3/8 down to 1/4) and if so how much?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, yes we can supply this and any other Manfrotto accessory. The Manfrotto 120 3/8 to 1/4 adapter we sell for £12 inc VAT and can be ordered either via our sales line on 0845 652 1313 or if you are ordering other items just put in the comments box on the checkout page that you would also like the Manfrotto 120 adapter at £12 and we can add it to your order manually offline.
