This is my first tripod except for the mini one used on my compact. I wanted something light for my rambles yet sturdy enough for my light DSLR and long lens (up to 2kg).
This seems as though it will fulfill it's purpose. Slightly plasticky. Only time will tell how the engineering holds up to my amateur use.
