I researched tripod bags as I had been given a Manfrotto tripod for Xmas. Some reviews said that the padded bag was unwieldy and heavy, but it isnt. I think if you have a good tripod, you should get a good bag for it, and this is a great one. I dont find it heavy at all, and am really pleased with it. It carries my tripod with head attached, and is easy to use.

Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, looking at the dimensions you would need to go for the MBAG80 - the closed length of the tripod is 58cms plus the height of the head is 13.5cms.
