The Metz SCA 3002 system can almost perfectly match any camera system. This Nikon adapter even allows for iTTL control. I like using both Canon and Nikon so I need only one gun that will work on both equally well

Metz SCA 3402 Nikon Adapter Question

Date Added: 13th October 2010
Question: Will my old Metz 45 CT 3 / SCA 300 combination be usable with - or damage my D90?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, as the 45 CT-3 is an older non Digital flashgun then you would have to use the SCA 301 standard foot plus SCA 300A connection cable. You would only get basic Auto/Manual operation, no TTL unfortunately.

Question: What SCA adaptor do I need to use my Metz 54 MZ-3 flashgun on the Nikon D70.

Metz SCA 3402 Nikon Adapter Question

Date Added: 16th November 2009
Question: I have a Metz 45 CL-4 which I have been using with a Bronica ETRSi. Would the SCA 3402 enable me to use the flash with my D3 and D200 cameras, please?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, if your 45 CL-4 isnt the Digital version then you couldnt use the SCA 3402 unfortunately. You would have to connect it up to your D200 / D3 via the 301 standard foot and the SCA 300A cable for basic auto/manual operation only. Only the lastest 45 CL-4 Digital would give you full TTL flash metering via the SCA 3402 adapter.

Question: Hi, I have a Metz 32 CT-3 fitted with a SCA 343 for my old Nikon FA, I now have a D90 what would I need if its even possible?

Metz SCA 3402 Nikon Adapter Question

Date Added: 31st August 2007
Question: I have a Metz 60CT-2 and a Nikon DX1. Does the SCA 3402 work with these?
Bristol Cameras Answer: I have spoken to Metz UK and they advise not to use the SCA adapters with that flashgun as the trigger voltage is too high even with the SCA adapter fitted, it would not be healthy for you and your camera. Your best bet is to look at the Metz 45 CL4 Digital if you prefer a hammerhead style flash.
