Question: How does this compare to other frames on the market? Does it come with a memory card? How much to send to BN8 address.
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, I think this frame compares very favourably with others at this size for the money. You will fine some 10 inch frames (such as the Jobo PDJ105) are only 640x480 resolution, this is fine for a 7 or 8 inch frame but when going up to the larger 10 inch frames you want 800x600 resolution in order to get a good quality image and the LS1000 has this. There is no card included but there is 512MB of internal memory to get you started which will hold quite a few images. You can expand the memory with SD cards which are available from only £7. Most people I know with these frames will have a couple of cards one with landscape images on and the other with portrait, this avoids having to resave images on a single card when you want to rotate the frame to a different orientation. Shipping via the Royal Mail for an order up to the value of £599 would be £10.
