Question: Can I use the Nikkor 35mm f2 D on a Nikon D40x camera?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, you can use this lens on the D40x but as it isnt an AF-S lens you would not have auto focus. To get full compatibility, including AF operation, you need to use an AF-S lens which has an AF drive motor built into the lens.
