Want the best APS-C body money can buy? This is it. Rather than focus on specs, lets talk about how it is to use. Following Nikon's tradition, the camera is all about ease of use and handling. You can set up 4 settings and shooting banks, so you can rapidly change between settings set in the menu. All the critical photography settings are switches and buttons on the body itself for instant changes. In essence it removes all the technical rubbish, and just lets you concentrate on the end result - the photo. It doesn't get better than this. Not for the beginner; but if you know what you're doing it's like a little slice of heaven.

Question: Hi, Is the D300 leather zoomster camera case big enough to accommodate the camera with the MB-D10 Battery grip also attached?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, I am afraid not, it is only designed to hold the D300 without the grip attached. You would have to look at something like the Lowepro Toploader 75AW which has been designed to accommodate a SLR camera with battery grip attached. Hope this is of help to you.
Question: Does the power on the Nikon D 300 turn off automatically if the on-off switch is left in the on position? If so, how do I set it to turn off?
Bristol Cameras Answer: The D300 will automatically switch to sleep mode if left on for some time. In sleep mode very little of the battery life is used. Unfortunately it will not turn off automatically and this will have to be done manually with the power of switch. Hope this is of help to you?
Question: If I order the D300 body what is included, ie do I get a battery etc
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, the standard accessories are as follows: Rechargeable Li-ion Battery EN-EL3e, Quick Charger MH-18a, USB Cable UC-E4, Video Cable EG-D100, Strap AN-D300, LCD monitor cover BM-8, Body cap, Eyepiece Cap DK-5, Rubber Eyecup DK-23, Software Suite CD-ROM. Hope this is of help to you.
Question: What remote releases are compatible with the Nikon D300 and what do they cost?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, the Nikon D300 is compatible with either the MC-30 or MC-36 remote cords. The MC-36 is available on our site at £100 inc VAT. Hope this is of help to you.
Question: Does this camera (D300) carry the standard 2 year Nikon warranty?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, you get 12 months as standard and the free second year applies when you register the camera within 30 days of purchase. Hope this is of help to you.
Question: Can you send parcels to me outside of the UK?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Unfortunatley, as a fraud preventative measure we can only send your parcel to the registered card holders address which must be in the UK (including Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands), we do not send goods outside of the UK.
