Nikon D60 Digital SLR Body Question

Question: Will the Tokina 11-16mm fit the Nikon D60?

Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, it will fit but as the lens doesnt have a built in focus motor you will not have any autofocus. The Sigma 10-20 does have a built in focus motor so would be an alternative. Hope this is of help to you.

Nikon D60 Digital SLR Body Question

Question: I am using AF Nikkor lenses on my F60 camera - if I use them with the D60 do I lose the autofocus facility please? Otherwise would they be OK?

Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, if they are Nikkor AF-S lenses then the autofocus will work, if they arent AF-S lenses then you would only have manual focus. Other than the AF situation they should work fine. Dont know if you are aware but due to the D60 having a CCD that is smaller than a 35mm film area the focal length of any lens you use on it will be effectively multiplied by approx 1.5 times which is generally fine for telephoto lenses but can be a problem on the wider angle ones. Hope this is of help to you.
