This eyepiece gives a larger and sharper viewfinder view and as an extra added bonus as it protudes from the viewfinder a little further than the supplied eyepiece which gives your nose a bit more room. Also easier to alter diopter if needed without removing eyepiece. A genuine well made quality Nikon item which is highly recomended.
