Question: Hi, is the FL-36R compatible with the E-500 and does it have lamp mode to aid with autofocus?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, yes the FL-36R is compatible with the E500 plus any other E system digital slr camera. The flash does have an AF illuminator to assist focusing in dark or low contrast conditions. |

Question: Can you please clarify the the compatibility of the FL36R with the E510? I understand it has a 'slave' mode which the original FL36 did not. What is slave mode?
Bristol Cameras Answer: The FL36R is compatible with the E510, the slave function will allow you to use other flashguns wirelessly when a FL36R is used on the camera. |

Question: dose this (Olympus FL-36R) or the Metz version have a PC trigger capability? Are there accessories needed for the wireless control?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Neither of the two flashes have PC sync capabilities, though you may be able to buy an adapter. The two flashguns require no accessories for wireless control. |

Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, yes it is compatible although the flashguns wireless function will not work with the E510 (only the E3 at present). |
