Question: If I use the MJU 1030 SW in salt water will it damage it as salt water is so corrosive. Would it be advisable to use a plastic case or a cheaper cover?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, Olympus state that the camera can be used in salt water but after use it must be soaked in a bucket of fresh water for 10 minutes then left to dry. Olympus do produce a dedicated underwater housing (PT-043) for the camera it you wish to dive deeper than 10 metres or want to protect the camera more. Hope this is of help to you. |
