Have used the Optech wrist straps for many years and decided to get the neck strap for my EOS SLR - the strap itself is well made and really comfortable in use even with a heavy camera and lens combination.
Downside, for me it has to be said, is that I prefer working with the wrist straps, and although the neck strap features quick disconnects, the parts of the strap left on the camera are way too long and wave about a lot - very distracting and could ruin a photo, so would have preferred the disconnects closer to the body _:*(
Otherwise is should have got 5/5

If you use large lenses or a heavy camera then get one! It does exactly what it claims to do. I have a Canon EOS 5D with 24-105 lens and the Canon strap becomes uncomfortable very quickly. Since changing to the Optech I have not experienced any more shoulder problems.
