This Optech strap is a top quality item and spreads the load/weight of camera (or heavy equipment) really well. It is very well made, I have purchased these for all my cameras/equipment over the last several years and they do not seem to wear out or break.

Question: What weight will this strap support?

Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, Optech straps are very strong but once stretched to much they lose their benefits and you might as well stay with a normal 'cheese cutter' type of strap. 3 to 4 kilos is enough for an Optech strap before it loses its performance value.
