Question: Hi, the only difference I can see between the specs of the 7600i AI and 7600i SE is the IT8 calibration target. Could you explain what it is which justifies the additional cost of the scanner?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, the difference between the 2 models is the version of SilverFast software that is included. The 7600i SE includes SilverFast SE Plus ME software and the 7600i AI comes with SilverFast Ai Studio with IT8 calibration. The IT8 feature is a calibration system which means you will get more consistent colours when scanning your films and you spend less time post processing the scanned image.
