I took this camera with me on holiday to the Red Sea. I used both on land and underwater. The picture quality is really good. Underwater when I used it in the "Sea" mode the pictures were still a little blue below 20 metres but at depths above that OK. When used with the external flash both at night and in the day results were good. I have only just started try using the manual white balance but the results from this were really good at all depths. I took it down to 35m with no problems at all.
Editing photos was a pleasure as the 8 megapixel allows for a lot of cropping without losing quality.
This camera is a real improvement on the DC 500 which I was using before.

This camera is absolutely great value for money. We go diving as a hobby on holiday once or twice a year so didn't want to pay a fortune, however we wanted something better than a throw away one. This more than passed our expectations and is extremely good value for money at Bristol Camera's. You can also use it as a perfectly good camera when you aren't under the sea too!
