Wide angle zoom lens designed for digital SLR cameras with APS-C sized sensors only. Large aperture of f2.8 at the wide angle end of the zoom range. Features Sigma's OS (Optical Stabiliser) system. Minimum focusing distance of 30cm and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.1. 67mm filter thread. Comes with lens hood plus front and rear caps. Quick and fast AF with internal focusing and HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) technology. Sigma lenses purchased from 1st September 2010 will now come with a 3 year warranty (if registered with Sigma UK within 30 days of purchase).

Hi I purchased this lens as a replacement for the Nikon kit lens on my D3000 which I keep in the car instead of my D300 - for the just incase shots. It is quite an amazing lens with a fairly high specification for the price and is capable of producing some very sharp images - it is 100% better than the kit lens. Also you cannot beat the BRISTOL CAMERAS price or delivery service. So if you are looking for a quality lens at a budget price I recommend you purchase this one.
