I bought this to protect my shiny new 120-400mm lens, I'd much rather replace a filter than a lens. No noticeable detraction to the image quality, gives the usual purple-ish tinge to the sky, but personally I quite like it, if not a 1A or 1B Skylight would suit. For a budget filter I have to say I'm impressed.

Does what it says on the box. It filters UV light and protects your lens like a mother protects her child.

Not a great deal to say about this product - seems well built, transparent, light, and screws easily onto the lens. The lens cap can be attached after using this filter - it now will sit permanently on my Sigma 10-20 as a protector.
