Here you have the text from a real camera amateur, so please excuse the lack of technical jargon. This was my 2nd choie lens, with my main choice out of stock, and this was recommended by BC as a good alternative. First reaction is that is is a good alternative. Sturdy build and easy to fit. This is what I would call a real "plug and play" accessory and the first few pictures taken demonstrate the clarity of some good pictures using the zoom to maximum effect. Still need more time to play with its features, and may post an update to this when I have taken a closer look. I intend to use it for sporting events - cricket, rugby etc, and so far this should suit such challenges.

Question: I am looking to buy the Nikon D60 and would like an 18-200mm lens. Is the sigma lens a good buy for this camera and what would I be losing in comparison to the same Nikon lens which is £200 dearer
Bristol Cameras Answer: The Sigma is a great all round versatile lens, what the Nikon will give you for the extra money is a slightly larger maximum aperture at the telephoto end of the focal length, quicker and quieter focusing due to its AF-S system and most importantly is the VR which is a vibration reduction system to help eliminate camera shake.

Question: Is this available to fit the Olympus 4/3rds mount (E-500)?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, Sigma dont currently produce either of their 18-200 lenses in the Four Thirds lens mount I am afraid, so for this sort of zoom range you would have to look at the genuine Olympus 18-180.
