Question: Does the Sony Alpha version of this lens utilise the HSM facility?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, no both the Sony and Pentax fittings do not have the HSM feature.

Question: I am considering purchase of an olympus E510 and the sigma 30mm f1.4 EX DC HSM Lens and was wondering if the two are compatible. I also use an E300 Olympus is the lens compatible with this as well?
Bristol Cameras Answer: Hi, yes the Sigma 30mm lens is available in FourThirds fitting which would make it fully compatible with any of the Olympus digital SLR cameras including the E510 and E300.
