Very impressive lens. I use it on a Sony Alpha A200 and the sharpness, even at 300mm, is excellent. Very well made and very smooth operation.

This is a great lens it's heavy but it feels really good quality and for less then ?100 is by far the best lens you will get for that money. The build quality is spot on too. I use the lens on a Nikon D40 and the focusing is so much smoother than the Nikon kit lenses I have and quicker too. If you have ?100 spare or are looking for something like this lens, BUY IT!! I promise you will love it.

Nice lens, can't argue value-wise nothing comes close for the cost, and the quality and feel of the lens is superb given its low cost, picture quality is good, easily on par with the kit lens, although i assume not up there with the primes. Overall very happy with it, and the extra range over a 55-200mm is what swung it for me.
