Ultra wide angle zoom lens suitable for digital slr cameras with an APS-C sized sensor. 35mm equivalent focal length range of 16-37mm. Compact, lightweight design. Built in AF motor so Nikon fit version is compatible with all APS-C sensor Nikon D-SLR cameras including the D40, D40x, D60, D3100 and D5100 models. Minimum focus distance of 24cm across the whole zoom range. Flower shaped lens hood included. 77mm filter thread. Tamron lenses purchased from 1st April 2010 will now come with a 5 year warranty.

This 77mm HRT combined circular polarising and UV filter uses a newly developed HRT (High Rate Transparency) film which allows approx 25% more visible light through the filter while still filtering the same amount of polarised light. Circular polarising filters are most commonly used to darken bright blue skies in landscape photography and to reduce reflections on water and glass.

Great value Hoya twin filter kit. Contains the Hoya Pro 1 Digital 77mm Protector and the Hoya Pro 1 Digital 77mm Circular Polarising filters. For lenses which have an 77mm filter thread. The protector filter is ideal to leave on the lens at all times to protect the front element. Doesn't affect colour balance or lens performance. Digital multi coated. Low profile frame.
