The world's first 1:1 macro lens for D-SLR cameras with a maximum aperture of f2. True life size 1:1 magnification ratio. Designed for D-SLR cameras with an APS-C sized sensor. 55mm filter thread. Easy switch over from manual to auto focus. Nikon fit version has a built in AF motor so is compatible with D40, D40x, D60, D3100 and D5100 digital SLR cameras. Internal focusing system so the front of the lens does not extend. Tamron lenses purchased from 1st April 2010 will now come with a 5 year warranty.

Hoya 55mm HRT Circular Polarising + UV Filter:

This 55mm HRT combined circular polarising and UV filter uses a newly developed HRT (High Rate Transparency) film which allows approx 25% more visible light through the filter while still filtering the same amount of polarised light. Circular polarising filters are most commonly used to darken bright blue skies in landscape photography and to reduce reflections on water and glass.

Great value Hoya twin filter kit. Contains the Hoya Pro 1 Digital 55mm Protector and the Hoya Pro 1 Digital 55mm Circular Polarising filters. For lenses which have a 55mm filter thread. The protector filter is ideal to leave on the lens at all times to protect the front element. Doesn't affect colour balance or lens performance. Digital multi coated. Low profile frame. The circular polariser is used to remove unwanted reflections from non metallic surfaces such as glass and water. A camera angle of 30 degrees from the reflecting surface is ideal for maximum effect.
