A velbon mini tripod and a Mg ball joint head what value.
3 leg angles and a splittable centre column makes this pocket size tripod indespensible. It will be a constant companion with me on my photo trips.

I'm fortunate to travel extensively with my job, so often get the chance to photograph great scenery, architecture and night shots. I've tried a number of 'travel' mini tripods for my SLR and Lumix LX3 (such as Giottos and other decent makes), but never really been happy with them until I bought this unit. It's sturdy, well built, extends to round 0.5 metres, packs up pretty small to easily fit in a travel bag and the excellent ball head easily support either of my cameras. It's not the cheapest mini tripod, but you get what you pay for and this will certainly be with me for a long time to come - highly recommended.
