This is a remarkable tripod at the price with practical carrying advantages. The twist-lock legs take a little getting used to but, once this is mastered, the operation is simple, quick and reliable. It is an ideal 'field' tripod being stable in use, especially if (like me) you don't need the thinest leg section. The compromise is that the reduced carrying size does make it less rigid than the quality ones with fewer leg sections but, in real terms, you are more likely to have this one with you. It also goes very low! Overall, a worthwhile addition to my photo equipment and one I shall use far more often than my Manfrotto 190CL which is now relegated to studio use only.
