I bought this tripod about a month ago and I find it brilliant. It is so light and small that you dont even feel that you are carying a tripod :-) I have it with me all the time. I would definetly recommend it to anyone.

I purchased this item because of it's portability but have since discovered that you can set it for macro work approx 4" above ground level which is much lower than published specs suggest. All you do is ignore the leg angle selector and spread the legs very widely and the centre column can be reduced to almost horizontal. It provides a very stable platform! this adds greatly to what is already a very versatile tripod.
