Before I purchased the Visionary HD 8X42 binocular for my wife I did detailed online research into the ideal binocular for her birdwatching hobby. The key information I discovered was that first of all an 8x42 binocular was ideal because a bigger magnification (say a 10) needed a steadier hand, and my wife wanted a binocular smaller and lighter than her old 10x50. Secondly, light gained from the 42 was supposed to give you a much clearer picture. Well how right the experts were! And how amazed we have both been both with the quality and the price of your Visionary HD 8X42 binoculars. Whether you need to use glasses (like my wife) or not (like myself) the binoculars are comfortable and are easy to focus. They are sturdy and nice-looking too! We are fortunate to have a garden regularly visited by a range of birds and don't they look gorgeous through these binoculars! We can't wait to get out on a Yorkshire walk again come the Spring.

I bought Visionary HD 8x42 Binoculars for my husband for Christmas. They came complete with case, strap and lens caps. My husband is a glasses wearer, and the special extended eye cups make them easy to use with glasses. The 8x42 magnification is ideal for his bird watching hobby and came recommended by a specialist in the sport. I previously got him smaller more expensive 10x40 binoculars with a zoom facility but they proved extremely difficult to focus as the sights wizzed past (my technical term)and the slightest hand shake made them jumpy. The Visionary HD's rubber armoured body is very comfortable to handle, and the size of the binoculars make focus and control easy.
