After a bad experience when attempting to buy a camcorder from a well-known internet set (think longest river or tribe of extremely muscular females and you won't be far wrong)I decided to order, by phone, a Canon HV30 camcorder from a relatively local family-run business - which I collected in person - and such was the service I received from the staff there, that I have recently bought a spare battery for the camcorder from Bristol Cameras. I recommend a) the service and b) the prices (the camcorder was the lowest price at that time and, allowing for the trip to Bristol, still left me on the credit side compared to some of the other prices quoted. Well worth a visit!

I feel that a tailor made camera case as specified by the manufacturer of the camera would be the best purchase for me.... and now having received it has confirmed my conviction. Having seen this on Bristol Cameras website I ordered the Brown Leather version which I received very promtly considering that the two parts to the case were not in stock when ordering, but with excellent email communication with Bristol Cameras the item was with me before the deadline date that I needed it. The case is excellent and fits the camera perfectly. Quality at it's best, always worth paying that extra. Well done Bristol Cameras will be in touch again when requiring more items.

I phoned for help regarding a Nikon lens. The phone was answered quickly and the advice given was on a "one to one" basis (no asking a third party in the background) which certainly gave me confidence in their knowledge and the goods arrived in 2 days and were well packed. Really pleased with the MBD200 - I wanted it for added support when using larger lenses and with the integrated controls for use in vertical position it is ideal. Having the back up of the extra battery is a bonus. Also very pleased with your service and will definitely be a returning customer.

I have had excellent service from both the shop and the mail order sections. My order was processed and dispatched as stated on the website. Notification via email of order progress is good to. Having purchased a lot of kit a couple of items were out of stock but this info was received with the goods. The missing items were dispatched the following week and arrived one week after original order, which is very good. I have recommended the shop to fellow photographers and beginners for price, information available and delivery. An answering service for mail order during the day might be a good idea. Thanks again and I will be ordering more in the future.

The best price to be found on google and very quick (next day even!) posting of my Steiner 10 X 26 binoculars. The binoculars were safely packaged and the superior optical quality of the Steiner binculars, even at the cheaper end of their range is obvious. Will be happy to shop here again when looking for a photographic or optical product.
