Bresser AR-102 | 600 EQ-3 AT-3 Refractor Telescope

The Bresser AR-102/600 EQ-3 AT-3 Refractor is an excellent choice for those who what a simple to use, well mounted manual telescope and is the ideal instrument for the adult amateur astronomer who needs a touch more aperture than the average starter scope. This attractive double achromatic refractor is a 102mm / 4-inch aperture system which gathers a very reasonable amount of light for both deep sky observation and planetary and lunar work too. Being f/5.8 focal ratio, the telescope is rather portable for its aperture, which also puts less strain on the Bresser EQ3 mount it is mounted on. This German Equatorial mount allows for polar alignment and the smooth and accurate manual tracking of targets in the night sky - and can also be motorised at a later date, should the need arise. The Bresser AR-102/600 EQ-3 AT-3 Refractor comes with 2 eyepieces: a 25mm and 10mm Kelner 1.25 inch design, giving 24x and 60x respectively. The telescope is also supplied with a 2x Barlow lens, which extends this magnification range to 48x and 120x when used in conjunction with these eyepieces. A standard 1.25 inch star diagonal is supplied in order to make observation easier. A LED red dot, non-magnified reflex finder is also supplied, to help point the telescope for both day and night time observations.
