Designed for Nikon digital SLR cameras with an APS-C sized crop sensor, this zoom lens has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 28.8-640mm. The Tamron HLD (High/Low torque modulated Drive) focuses accurately and quietly while adjusting the motors rotation from low to high speeds, enabling smooth autofocusing. Built in Vibration Reduction (VC) mechanism for reducing camera shake. 45cm close focus distance. 72mm filter thread. Compatible with the optional Tamron TAP-in console which enables you to easily update the firmware on the lens as well as customise features including fine adjustments to the AF and VC.
