Reflector Telescopes (76)

They use a concave objective mirror at the back of the tube and a secondary mirror which directs the light to the eyepiece. As the light rays are reflected off mirrors, rather than passing through glass, no false colour is produced. -

Refracting telescopes have an objective lens at the front of the tube with the light emitting through the back of the tube to the eyepiece.
