- The Bresser MikrOkular Full HD eyepiece camera is an excellent value, low cost USB imager, featuring a CMOS sensor with a resolution of 1920 x 1080px (Full HD, indivdual pixel size is 3x3 µm ).
- This camera is a good choice for imaging the Moon, brighter planets and the Sun (with full aperture solar filter) and is compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10.
- The camera itself comes with a metal casing, fully integrated IR and UV filter and adapters for various telescopes and microscopes - 1.25" (31.7mm), 30mm and 30.5mm.
- The Bresser MikrOkular Full HD eyepiece camera can also be used as an autoguider, with an appropriate equatorial mount.
- Both PHD and PHD2, the popular guiding packages, recognise this camera under their "Windows WDM-style webcam camera" autoguider setup option.
- Simply pick this and scoll down to the bottom of the recognised camera menu - "Mikrokular" will be found on this list, once the camera is connected to a Windows PC.
- As this camera does not have a dedicated ST4 protocol port, you would need to use a serial or serial/usb connection cable directly to the secondary control port on most Goto telescope's handsets.
