This Cokin P series (M size) filter kit includes the a Cokin P007 Infrared filter plus an M size (P series) filter holder. The infrared filter is placed in the closest slot from the lens. It is framed in a round ring to prevent light leaks. Because most cameras have an anti-IR filter built on the sensor, using an infrared filter requires a long exposure to achieve the effect. When used on a film camera, or a digital camera without an anti-IR filter on the sensor, the effect is instantly visible. All that is required is the relevant adaptor ring for the filter thread of your lens, see are not included and available separately. P series filter measure 84 x 84mm.
